Dolce & Gabbana

Domeniko Dolce and Stefano Gabbana confuse not seldom, someone considers that they are brothers, and for laymen this is one person in general. And nevertheless, these are absolutely different two persons. Impudent friends managed to outstrip time, they created so habitual to us now fashion of 1990s. 

They met in Milan in the beginning of 1980s and began their own business with zero. First at times there was no money even on meal, it was necessary to push into theirselves boiled rice every day. They are absolutely different: expressional Gabbana and reserved Dolce — adherents concerning fashion and style. They made the business successful less than for ten years. Their creativity is a constant search of the ideal woman. 

1980s. In their opinion, uglier fashion yet wasn't in the history of mankind. Women and men with shoulders are chained in business suits, as in an armor. There isn`t any sexual, there isn`t any body. Young designers didn't want to agree with it. With their occurrence on a podium there were heroines of the Italian neo-realism in the fitted black dresses hardly tense on a breast. 

"But during too time you never will see a naked breast or a bum in our collections. The female body shouldn't look accessible", — the fashion designers confirm. Mixture of materials, the technician, styles, epoch are the basic lines of  Dolce & Gabbana dresses. Baroque fabrics with transparent plastics, the scrappy technics in style of hippie with precious brocade, man's fabrics in a strip, bagatelles house are viscous, clasped on flypapers. The eclecticism also made their favourites of the press and idols of stars. Already in 1980s the friends sharply felt the future, inclined to refuse rules and all to confuse. 

Their style is the style of 1990s years. At times it seemed that the designers repeated, but it was only the first impression. Dolce and Gabbana`s models were easy for learning on flexible lines, corsets and bra, to black color in leopard stains, zebra strips. But, perhaps, nobody was able to change, as they. 

In the beginning of 1990s the fashion designers returned to scrappy skirts and knitted shawls of hippie. 

In 1994 they began to investigate a theme "Mafiosi" of 1930s years: striped suits with white shirts. 

In 1995, having been tired from shapeless and sexless of Grange epoch, they deduced on a proscenium accurately brushed, well-educated lady in a ceremonious suit with a shot sleeve three quarters. They love to shock public, they like all excessive, bursting forth, — the slender waists tightened in corsets, tops-bras in which the breast is similar to the dismissed flower, the narrow skirts clinging to hips. All that was impossible ten years ago, and all to what we have got used today thanks to efforts including this couple.
